Невмержицкий получил предыдущий тюремный срок в 2022 году, в колонии он завербовался на войну и уехал на фронт, а в марте 2023 года вернулся. В каком именно подразделении он проходил службу, не уточняется.
Как выяснила «Вёрстка», до войны Невмержицкого в разные годы судили за «половое сношение с лицом, не достигшим 16-летнего возраста», а также обвиняли в повреждении чужого имущества и кражах.
