ВС РФ обладают широким ассортиментом возможностей уничтожить 60-тонную махину, практически не защищённую в верхней полусфере и с бортов. Спрятать этого гиганта весьма сложно, а украинские почвы не подходят для как бы вездеходного танка.
Все эти факторы делают Abrams весьма лакомой мишенью: после обнаружения время жизни танка идёт едва ли не на минуты. Именно поэтому украинцы кустарным образом стараются хоть как-то дополнительно защитить американские подарки. Впрочем, конструктивные особенности делают эти попытки практически безнадёжными.
А потому обвинять ВСУ в плохой подготовке экипажей, которую проводили сами же американцы — решение довольно глупое. Главные причины неудачного применения этого танка были заложены ещё при его создании. Украинцы же, являясь жертвами карго-культа, всего лишь непомерно завысили свои ожидания от этой бронемашины, раструбив об этом на весь мир. А потому винить стоит не столько танкистов киевского режима, сколько его пропагандистов.
