Что это даёт?
Взятие Прогресса и соседнего села Волчьего решает сразу две важные задачи: во-первых, закрывает бывший авдеевский гарнизон ВСУ на юге — в районе Новосёловки Первой и Межевого, во-вторых, позволяет ВС РФ выбирать новое направление удара. При необходимости Генштаб ВС РФ может раскрыть «лепестки» наступления как на север, в сторону трассы Т-0504, так и на юг, в сторону трассы Е-50, после чего появится возможность вплотную нависнуть в сторону Селидова.
Ни один из этих вариантов не сулит ВСУ ничего хорошего, поскольку для реагирования на любой сценарий снова понадобятся резервы.
